<P>Early American History Auctions, Inc. announces its June 2003 Mail Bid Sale, consisting of 1,601 lots of Autographs, Coins, Currency, Civil War Material, Prints, Maps, and other Authentic, Historic Americana. <P>AUTOGRAPHS: Highlights of the Autograph section include a 1774 order from Cadwallader Colden, the Royal Lieutenant Governor of New York, to provide money to quarter British troops in private dwellings (a major grievance leading to the American Revolution). <P>Highlighting the section of Washington-related items is a complete five-volume, 1804-1807 set of John Marshall's "The Life of George Washington" (including the rare atlas) (Est. $4,000-$6,000). <P>COINS AND CURRENCY: Highlights of the Colonial and Continental Currency section include a remarkable 1766 Georgia ÒSavannah Court-HouseÓ £1 note (Est. $5,000-$6,000), an exceedingly rare Massachusetts $1 1776 ÒSword In HandÓ issue (Est. $9,500-$12,500); one of the finest known Vermont notes, an Extremely Fine 2s6d of February 1781 (Est $18,000-$24,000); and an extremely rare Anderson ÒVermont-1Ó Treasury Office Note (Est $10,000-$12,000). <P>Topping the Obsolete Currency section is an incredible and perhaps unique full color $2 Specimen Note from The Old Colony Bank of Plymouth (Est. $3,500-$4,500) <P>U.S. COINAGE: A number of important United States Coins will be offered, including an impressive 1851 Augustus Humbert, United States Assayer $50 ÒSlug,Ó .880 Thousand, in About Uncirculated-50 (Est. $15,000-$18,000). <P>In the Western Americana section, top billing goes to an 1882 Cabinet Card of Jesse JamesÕ Corpse by James W.
