Auction Details
On May 15th, Wassily Kandinsky’s rare and complete “Kleine Welten” portfolio will go up for auction. It is the fourth time this rare portfolio has surfaced in its entirety since 1989 at public auction.
Also being represented in the Fine Art category is Tony Cragg’s bronze sculpture “The Knot”, an untitled oil painting by Richard Pettibone, Andy Warhol’s lithograph “Liz”, 1964, and Ansel Adams first published portfolio “Parmelian Prints of the High Sierras”. Rounding out the auction is a fine selection of furniture including modern by Tommi Parzinger and Arne Jacobsen, a selection of hammered copper by Dirk Van Erp, antiquarian books, sterling silver including a Sheffield punch bowl, fine jewelry and time pieces, and Chinese and Japanese ivories, porcelains and decorative items.
