Magnificent Lustrous High Quality Fine handmade Persian Mashad Rug. 100% Natural, hand woven, vegetable dye, highest quality and baby lambs wool pile on cotton foundation. This is an exceptionally exquisite piece with a floral design and an artistic arabesque pattern over a heart warming ruby red color background. Please notice the highly well defined and well pronounced design which is a testament to the fine weave. Also, please notice the lovely sunburst central medallion. Where a typical Rug is limited to twelve to sixteen colors, this piece features more than thirty eight different colors. This piece has about 100 knots per square inch and it takes over three years to weave and create this Rug. The baby lambs wool pile used to weave this Rug is of the finest quality available to the point that it feels like velvet to the touch. Size: 12 feet 9 inches X 9 feet 9 inches.
