First Day Cover, 1954, 1 Annas, 2 Annas, 4 Annas & 14 Annas affixed on the front with a pictorial cancellation depicting the progress of postal services from the postman on foot to airmail services and text as “INDIA POSTAGE STAMP CENTENARY | CALCUTTA G.P.O.”, Beautiful image of a post office with Indian flag, people of all age groups, surrounded with nature’s beauty and a banner that says “STAMP CENTENARY HALL”, there are 2 circular logotype images – the top image is with a picture of a musical instrument and text “SERVICE BEFORE SELF | INDIAN POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS”, the logo at the bottom has an image of an hourglass with text in Devanagari as “भारत डाक टिकट शताब्दी 1854 – 1954”, text with beautiful font styles in bottom and top as “First Day Cover | India | POSTAGE STAMP CENTENARY | 1854 1st OCTOBER 1954”, good condition, Rare.
