The included factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel length, blue finish and ivory grips. The revolver was shipped to John Pritzloff Hardware Co., c/o L.H. Kurtz Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 4, 1925. The revolver was part of a one gun shipment and processed on Colt factory order 10429/1. The revolver has the standard blade front and frame notch rear sights, casehardened hammer and frame, with blue on the remaining parts and as stated fitted with smooth ivory grips featuring Rampant Colt medallions. The top of the barrel is marked with the one line address: "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." The left rear side of the barrel is marked "32 W.C.F." and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates marking followed by a Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the underside of the frame and on the right side of the trigger guard and back strap under the grip panel. The loading gate has the assembly number "780". The left side of the trigger guard has the number "3" above the factory triangle proof.

Condition: Excellent plus. The revolver retains 98% plus original blue finish. There is a slightly noticeable cylinder drag line and a series of minor scratches on the butt. The frame and hammer retain 97% plus original vibrant case colors. The factory ivory grips are excellent with a few very minor handling marks. The ivory has an attractive color and grain pattern.
