Seldomridge operated a grain business in Colorado Springs with his two sons (C.B. and Harry H.). It was this business that Bob Womack put a large piece of ore on display that got noticed by Ed De La Vergne, mineralogist. He identified it as high-grade gold ore and the rush to Cripple Creek began! State: Colorado City: Cripple Creek Date: HWAC# 60913
