Cert. #92, issued at Los Angeles, Cal. in 1905 for 3750 shares to Hundley and Miller. Signed by the president W.H. Gafford and secretary Geo. W. Brown. Coarse Gold is located on Hiway 41, just before the entrance to Yosemite National Park. The location dates to the early gold rush and was mentioned repeatedly by Eccleston in his Mariposa War diary in March, 1851 (Gudde). At one time, it was called Texas Flat for miners from Texas who found coarse gold there. Intermittent mining had continued up to 1975, when Gudde wrote California Gold Camps. The company name is printed in gold leaf print. Very attractive. Unc.City: Coarse GoldCounty: MaderaState: CADate:
