<B>Mad #13 Gaines File pedigree (EC, 1954) CGC NM 9.4 White pages.</B></I> Most of the issues in the Gaines File pedigree are represented by at least one NM/MT 9.8 specimen, including the <B>Mad</B></I> issues, but not #13. The highest-graded copy is a NM+ 9.6, and there's only two at this NM 9.4 grade. Harvey Kurtzman did the cover, and Wally Wood, Jack Davis, and Bill Elder provided interior art. Note that while CGC has certified this book as a Gaines File copy, no certificate accompanies this lot. Overstreet 2006 NM- 9.2 value = $725.
