MORRISON, JIM
(1943 - 1971) Moody, poetic lead singer and lyricist for the rock band The Doors, best remembered for his songs "Light My Fire", "Hello I Love You", "The End", and "People Are Strange". Died mysteriously in Paris. A great, scarce pairing of Morrison items, a fine association A.N.S. penned in pencil on a small, irregularly trimmed sheet of lined paper, and mentioning one of Morrison's best-known songs, "L.A. Woman," in full: "To the LA Woman thanks! J Morrison". Handsomely framed with a copy of The Doors' album The Doors, boldly signed "J Morrison" twice across Morrison's face, with one signature bearing weak contrast due to the dark background. Both pieces are handsomely matted in black with a brass biographical plaque, and set into an ornate gilt frame. Very good condition, and perfect for display!
