MOLLOY ( Gerald ). The Passion Play at Ober-Ammergau, in the summer of 1871. Burns and Oates (Dublin printed), 1872With 12 actual mounted photo plates, pages vi, (2), 109 and advert leaf, cr 8vo, original brown cloth, gilt, top edges gilt, by Galwey & Co., with ticket : a very good to nice copy. Probably the first published photos of this influential religious pageant. It was issued both with and without the photos and ran to three editions within the year. This copy belonged to the Irish novelist John Henry Edge and bears his signature and address on the title-page.ALSO WITH THIS LOT: (1) FITZPATRICK ( Wm. J. ).
