Sir Christopher Lee's personal script from Orson Welles' two-act stage production Moby Dick—Rehearsed. This lot comes from the personal collection of legendary actor Sir Christopher Lee. The play took place from 16th June to 9th July, 1955 at the Duke of York's Theatre in London. Bound in a black-and-dark green leather springback binder, the script comprises 122 pages printed single-sided on thin off-white paper. The inside of the first page is signed by Lee and annotations feature throughout, including several diagrams of stage positions in green ink and dialogue crossed out in red ink. The script exhibits signs of wear and age, including marks, discolouration and small rips present around the edges of some pages. The cover displays light scuffing and scratching. Dimensions: 29 cm x 23.5 cm x 1.5 cm (11 1/2" x 9 1/4" x 1/2")
