Superb slave auction broadside, 9" x 12", Missouri, 1858, reading in full: "SALE OF NEGROES By virtue of an order of the Probate Court for Pike county, Mo., the undersigned, Adm'r. of the estate of Samuel Brown, deceased, will sell, at Bowling Green, on the FIRST DAY OF JANUARY next, to the highest and best bidder, on a credit of nine months, TWO VALUABLE NEGRO MEN, And ONE NEGRO WOMAN AND CHILD. The purchaser will be required to give bond with approved security. Said Slaves will be sold for the purpose of distribution, and are likely and valuable. JOSEPH W.
