<B>Miss Madeira School Class Ring, circa 1927</B></I><BR><BR>This school for girls was founded by Lucy Madeira, in 1906, on DuPont Circle in McLean, Virginia. The class ring bears the school's motto, "Festina Lente" - 'make haste slowly'. The 14k yellow gold ring was manufactured by Mulligan Jewelers of Washington, D.C. The interior bears the inscription, <I>"R. B. 1927".</B></I> Gross weight 10.10 grams. Finger size 5.
