MISCELLANEOUS ARROWHEADS IN CASE. With fragment of incised pattern on shell gorget. The shell gorget is Mississippian period, Circa 1200-1500AD style. Arrowheads from Chenoa, Kentucky found in 1934 in the Williams Rock Shelter. Period ranges from early Archaic to Mississippian, 9000BC style-1500AD style. CONDITION: Points are generally good, gorget in poor to fair condition. 9-25984-111 The Tennessee Collection of Prehistoric Indian Artifacts from the Allen Graves Estate. SPECIAL NOTE: We do not regularly sell Prehistoric Indian stone artifacts and therefore have very little experience and no expertise in this area. All of the following lots have come from the Collection of the Late Allen Graves of Tennessee. The collection was inherited some years back by his daughter, who now lives in Maine. This collection was consigned to us directly from her. We employed someone to generally identify styles and types, but as stated above, due to our lack of expertise in this field, we can not guarantee the age or origin of the following pieces.
