Here is a wonderful vintage multicolored glass necklace. I do not understand why I cannot figure out which one of these spellings is correct. Any help out there would be appreciated. I see this spelled in several ways, either millefiori or milifiori? This means thousand flowers in Italian. Millefiori glass is a type in which slices of complex cane are worked together to show a flowerlike pattern. This is from Murrino glass. This was very popular in the 1700s. This lovely necklace is about 32 inches around and has these very large glass millifiori multicolored red, blue, yellow and green beads, with smaller ones as spacers. Very attractive and this necklace could be worn with a classy New Years Eve dress of any colores, to work or just with jeans
