MILITARY BELT PLATES AND MORE. Lot of 3. Includes an enlisted man's regulation 1851 pattern belt plate. This appears to be the 1862-63 model, but the laurel leaves which were applied separately have come off, some wear to high points. Plate in rough condition. PLUS a wonderful Naval Officers belt plate. This appears to be a non-regulation dress plate, based on the 1905 pattern. It is a single-piece plate, but has tabs on either side of the central plate which resemble the 2-part buckles. Minor wear to eagle's leg, otherwise very good with over half of the original gilt remaining. AND GAR hat insignia, in very good condition. PLEASE NOTE: THIS LOT WILL BE SOLD ON EBAY LIVE AUCTIONS BETWEEN 4:00-5:00pm EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME ON MAY 10, 2002. REGISTER NOW TO BID LIVE ONLINE THE DAY OF THE SALE! (EST 100-150)
