Very thickly encrusted piece with bits of sand and shells scattered about, scarce provenance. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Het Huis te Kraaiestein, sunk in 1698 off South Africa
