Somewhat odd-shaped flan with choice full shield and cross (small) with exaggerated fleur-tips indicative of early 1630s, peripherally flat and unevenly thick but practically corrosion-free and nicely toned. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
