MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 4 reales, Philip V, assayer not visible (J), style of 1712-14, shield side struck from 8R die, ex-Real Eight. S-M22; KM-unl (40 for type); Cal-unl (Type 139). 10.68 grams. Most of oversized shield (8R die) and nearly full cross, nicely toned but all a bit thin from moderate corrosion. With original Real Eight Co. certificate signed by Lou Ullian. Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
