MEXICO, Mexico City, cob 4 reales, 1714 (J), new-style shield, old-style cross. S-M22; KM-40; Cal-1084. 10.83 grams. Very bold full 14 of date (off-center obverse) but the rest mostly flat and lightly corroded, no toning. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 4, with original lot-tag 481, also with tag signed by Richard Long with the number 98 (but apparently not in his 98th sale). Recovered from: Spanish 1715 Fleet, sunk off the east coast of Florida
