MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales next to cannonball remains in a heavy mass of coral, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 1403 grams total. Roughly 8" x 5" x 3". Incredible piece with a silvery, solid 8R showing a bold partial shield and clear denomination 8 alongside the corroded remains of an iron cannonball on one end of this massive chunk of coral, a visually impressive and truly special clump from this wreck. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
