MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales in small chunk of coral, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 44.90 grams total. Roughly 2" x 1¾" x 1". Corroded yet decent cob with clear denomination 8 and shield detail plus a little bit of the cross showing, tightly encrusted in a piece of coral alongside a chunk of earthenware from the wreck. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
