MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales fragment with earthenware shards in chunk of coral, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 108.89 grams total. Roughly 3" x 2¼" x 1". Eclectic clump of orange-tinged coral with earthenware shards, rusted bits of iron, and some dark chunk of metal (possibly pewter) in addition to a corroded cob 8R with some shield detail barely visible. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
