MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 8 reales fragment in large chunk of coral, Philip IV, assayer not visible. 498 grams total. Roughly 3-¼" x 3" x 3". Heavy, baseball-sized chunk of tan coral with 8R sticking out which, despite a corroded "bite" out of it, shows some bold cross detail including visible castles-and-lions plus part of the legend, the whole clump perhaps containing other coins or items inside given its size. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
