MEXICO, Mexico City, clump of one cob 4 reales and an 8 reales fragment in chunk of coral, Philip IV, assayer P (where visible). 76.16 grams total. Roughly 2¾" x 2¼" x 1". Nice 4R sticking out of this coral piece with bold partial shield and cross plus visible assayer, encrusted along with a heavily pitted 8R on top of an earthenware shard plus some rusty iron fragments. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
