DOCTER OPTIC VARIABLE SCOPE. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4" / 9.3x74 R. S# 275066. The 24 3/4" bbls. are fitted with claw bases, flip over U-notch rear and silver bead front sights in full length matted rib. Bottoms of bbls. are stamped with November 1991 German Nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers & 9.3x74 R cartridges. Case hardened, notch backed, blitz action with both safety and rifle/shotgun selector on top tang features pin cocking indicators, crossbolt third fastener and double triggers (front set). Action has some rolled on scroll engraving and wiggle borders. Top of action is marked "TRIO". Suhl blacksmith logo is on triggerplate. Blued trigger guard has scroll on bow. Nicely figured European walnut cappied pistol grip buttstock with slight hogback comb measures 14 1/2" over checkered hard rubber buttplate with Suhl logo. Stock also features shadowline right hand cheekpiece, point pattern checkering at grip and sling loop matching that soldered to bottom of bbls. Matching square splinter forend has Deeley release. Drilling is mounted with 3-12x Docter Optic rail scope with crosshair and dual post reticle in claw mounts, rear with windage. MEASUREMENTS: SHOTGUN BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .731", L .733". Restriction: R .017" (MOD), L .035" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .033", L .030". STOCK: DAH: 2 7/8". DA REAR OF HOGBACK: 2 1/8". DAC: approx. 1 5/8". LOP: 14 1/2". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT WITHOUT SCOPE: 7 lb. 13 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case. CONDITION: very good, bbls. retaining 80% original blue, thinning on sides and with scratches on rib. Action retains about 1/2 of its original case hardening color, turning to silver & brown around bottom. Stocks retain nearly all of their original hand rubbed oil finish, checkering lightly worn. Shotgun bores are a bit hazy, rifle bore is very fine, shiny and sharp. Action is tight. Mechanically good. Scope is very fine with some minor light marks and scratches on exterior. Optically clear. A good solid drilling with tang safety in desirable calibers with great optics. (22-4905/MGM). MODERN. $2,500-3,500.
