Kalachuri of Ratanpur, Mahakosala- Chhattisgarh region, Punch Marked, Gold Gadyana, 3.44g, Unifaced, "Southern / 'Bastar" series, nine punches – warrior / Hanuman running in the centre, surrounded by 4 x stylised Kannada letter 'shri', and 4 x lotus in profile on obverse. Unpublished in major sources but illustrated as no. 197 in P L Gupta's landmark publication 'Coins'. Extremely fine, extremely rare.
