<b>213. [MAXWELL TAYLOR]</b>
<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1901-1987). During World War II he was the first American general to set foot in France during the 1944 Allied invasion. As Army Chief of Staff (1955-59), he formulated the “flexible response” strategy used in Vietnam; was chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (1962-64); and US ambassador to South Vietnam (1964-65). Offered is Taylor’s very handsome dress blue visor hat with gold bullion around the sides and on the brim and rare Luxembourg Eagle ornament at crown. Stenciled “Taylor M” label inserted within plastic casing attached to silk lining. Contained in green carry case with “Taylor” name tag within window label attached. All in excellent condition. With provenance.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
