Lot of concentration camp letters, patches, a photo, and postcards once belonging to a prisoner of Mauthausen, Josef Kuchar No. 2256, born 30.4.1899. Included in lot are four concentration camp letters are dated from 1941 to 1945. Number patch from Kuchar's clothes worn in the camp and a red triangle patch, indicating that Kuchar was a Czech political prisoner. Notice also included notifying families of prisoners that they may receive only one Christmas package or food and tobacco issued from the KZ Mauthausen. Two post-war postcards showing drawings KZ Mauthausen of the 'Stairs of Death' and the main entrance. One postcard for the one year anniversary of the liberation of Mauthausen in 1946 with a postal stamp and ink stamp commemorating the anniversary. Membership card for the 'Union of Anti-Fascist Warriors' from 1954, and a photograph of a little girl.
