MATURIN MOREAU (1822-1912) French school. An important pair of Carrara marble and gilt bronze figural torcheres. Each in the form of a finely carved marble putti holding a horn-of-plenty fitted with gilt bronze candelabra with six scroll arms. Signed on circular marble base. Raised on shaped gilt bronze plynths. 42" high. Together with a pair of lacquer finished wooden columnar pedestals with gilt bronze mountings. Each 44" high.
