Commonwealth of Massachusetts broadside directed to the “Selectmen or Assessors of the Town of Abington,” a Specie Tax for the purpose of “assessing a Sum of forth thousand and forty-seven pounds, fifteen shillings, to answer the exigencies of Government...to pay the Members of House of Representatives, for their attendance the three last Sessions of the General Court...” plus the additional sum of “twenty six pounds fifteen shillings six pence” for the town of Abington. Much more detail. Boldly signed by <b>Thomas Davis</b> as “Treasurer and Receiver-General of said Commonwealth.” Printed text crisp and clear, manuscript portions darkly penned in brown ink. General toning; small ink splotch within text; damp stains at right margin; occasion foxing; edge chipping with small paper loss; o/w in very good condition<b>.</b></span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
