This solid cane has a large section of antler for a handle that has a rich patina from use. The antler is 6" wide and2.75" high, and the horizontal section is 1.25" in diameter. The 1" wide collar is stamped "Solid Silver," and isengraved with "W.F. Gilder / Philadelphia." The birch shaft is 1" in diameter at the top, tapering to only .75" at the1.25" long nickel and steel ferrule. Some wear to finish of shaft and to ferrule. Overall length, 33.5".(EST 200-300)
