Artist and Certified Picture Framer, Marylee M. Moreland, owns and operates The Meadowlark
Gallery in Billings, MT. She was an illustrator for the U. S. Air Force Arts Program and her works are part
of its permanent art collection. Her paintings and sculpture have been juried into the C.M. Russell Art
Auction since. 1975. Her primary medium is watercolor, but when combined with her avid knowledge
of matting and framing, the two artists combine to produce a work that is recognizable as her signature
alone. Her work in bronze has included acceptance by jury in the C.M. Russell Art Auction and as well
being so noted for her high auction sales prices by Southwest Art magazine. Recently her sculpture and the
limited edition of bronzes entitled, Loose Cinch, was selected by the Western and English Sales Association
to be the Dennis D. High Award to honor their past officers and associates who have been beneficial to
their organization.
