Acquired by Seagram's directly from Marion Post Wolcott, these prints were actually rescued from the trash. When Wolcott was passing the old Farm Security Administration offices, she found these and other photographs in a dumpster, ready to be hauled away. When Wolcott asked about them, she was told, "Take as many as you can carry." These prints were signed at the time of purchase by Seagram's. The cropping is usually tighter in most published versions.
