Additional Information: This work is one of the largest lithographs in colours ever realised by the artist. In 1980 Aimé Maeght obtained some especially large lithostones and Marc Chagall realised thirteen monumental lithographs, representing his familiar subjects.
The work is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Marc Chagall" in the lower right part and inscribed "Epreuve d'artiste" (artist proof) in the lower left part.
The lithograph was published in a limited edition of 50 hand signed and numbered impressions and a few artist proofs. Our impression is one of those artist proofs.
