Map of South America. A Hand-Colored Map removed from: A Complete Genealogical, Historical, Chronological and Geographical Atlas; etc… by M. Lavoisne, Second American Edition, PHILADELPHIA: M. Carey and Son. September 1, 1820. This Map measures 21-3/4"x17.5" and is clearly Hand-colored. Very Good+ with a bit of darkening down the margin and edge chipping along the bottom, (see scan). This Map and the 11 others we are currently listing from this Scarce Atlas are indeed Original Maps, not reproductions of any sort.
