Geographical and Historical Map of the Roman Empire. A Hand-Colored Map removed from: A Complete Genealogical, Historical, Chronological and Geographical Atlas; etc… by M. Lavoisne, Second American Edition, PHILADELPHIA: M. Carey and Son. September 1, 1820. This Map measures 21-3/4"x17.5" and is clearly Hand-colored. Very Good with darkening along the center fold and a tear from the center of the map to the edge again along the fold (see scan). This Map and the 11 others we are currently listing from this Scarce Atlas are indeed Original Maps, not reproductions of any sort.
