Chart of the World as known to the Ancients on Mercator's Scale. & Division of the Earth among the Posterity of Noah. A Hand-Colored Map removed from: A Complete Genealogical, Historical, Chronological and Geographical Atlas; etc… by M. Lavoisne, Second American Edition, PHILADELPHIA: M. Carey and Son. September 1, 1820. This Map measures 21-3/4"x17.5" and is clearly Hand-colored. Very Good Condition with a tear along the center fold extending up to the edge from about the center of the Map (see scan). This Map and the 11 others we are currently listing from this Scarce Atlas are indeed Original Maps, not reproductions of any sort.
