Geographical Map of the World, with the Tracks of the most Celebrated Navigators... A Hand-Colored Map removed from: A Complete Genealogical, Historical, Chronological and Geographical Atlas; etc… by M. Lavoisne, Second American Edition, PHILADELPHIA: M. Carey and Son. September 1, 1820. This Map measures 21-3/4"x17.5" and is clearly Hand-colored. Very Good Condition with a tear along the center fold extending down to the edge from about the center of the Map and a bit of edge chipping along the top right edge, (see scan). This Map and the 11 others we are currently listing from this Scarce Atlas are indeed Original Maps, not reproductions of any sort.
