The lock plates are both engraved "MANTON", the left hammer is engraved with floral scroll and the top of the rib is engraved "LONDON FINE TWIST". There is a single brass bead sight. Mounted on a walnut straight grip stock with checkered wrist, blank initial oval and a smooth steel buttplate. The ramrod is a 19 1/4 inch piece of fiberglass with brass tip. With a pair of white wooly chaps with "GREAT WEST SADDLERY Co Ltd/HORSE SHOE BRAND" stamped on the belt. Richard Stalker and A. A. Stalker opened Horse Shoe Brand in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada during 1869. In 1879 Elisha Frederick Hutchings bought a junior partnership in Horse Shoe Brand. In 1884 Hutchings bought Richard Stalker's share of the business after his death. In 1900 Hutchings incorporated his diverse holdings into The Great West Saddlery Co. and operated 10 retail stores, manufactured harnesses, saddles, trunks, and bags in Winnipeg and Calgary and also operated a wholesale business in harness, saddlery, and hardware. Hutchings sold the business in 1928 and the business closed in the late 1950s. Constructed of leather with a canvas lining and long white hair. The belt is also stamped "32" and "27" probably size measurements. Also comes with a set of engraved and nickel plated spurs with tooled leather straps. The top of the spurs are stamped "CROCKETT". The last item included in this lot is an American Indian style woven rug that measures approximately 54 inches by 34 inches.

Poor, the barrels and rib have separated from the muzzle to halfway along the barrels and has been soldered at the muzzle and glued along the length. There is a mostly smooth brown patina overall with some patches of minor oxidation. The left hammer and hammer screw are replaced. The right hammer has a piece absent. The stock is very good as refinished with scattered dings and dents. Mechanically functions. The chaps are very good with some hair absent from along the inside edges and some patches of hair are absent. The leather remains fairly flexible and has some age cracking. The spurs are also very good with 80% of the original nickel plated finish remaining with some oxidation and scratches. The leather straps are good with the buckles absent. The loops holding the buckles are broken and there is flaking and age cracking. The rug is very good with some spots that are loosely woven.
