MALAYSIA: KELANTAN: Sultan Muhammad IV, 1900-1920, tin 10 keping (10.19g), AH1321, KM-20, comtemporary imitation, Jawi legends: belanjaan kerajaan kelantan sepuloh keping (currency of the government of Kelantan ten keping), numeral 10 below // date formula, suni'a fi dhu'l-hijja sanah 1321, Fine. The Sultan of Kelantan made a handsome profit on the genuine 10 keping tin coins as it contained less than ten times the amount of tin used on a normal 1 keping (pitis). This led to large scale counterfeiting and the coin had to be withdrawn soon after.
