MAGNUM OVERSIZE working black duck decoy ca early 1900's by Joseph W. Lincoln, of Accord, MA. This is one of America's finest black duck decoy designs and a personal favorite of this cataloger. Smooth rolling lines can be found from the top to the bottom on this American bird decoy masterpiece. Crisp vibrant paint on the body and head. Wonderful deep wing molding starts behind the head and neck and gracefully merges with the body. This RARE DECOY CLASSIC is in fine original paint with in use ice wear. High quality glass eyes. Struck by shot. There are a few tight age checks on the body and a typical check on the bottom from the front to the back with original filler inside. Couple of shot marks on the back, side, and bill restored professionally by Steve Weaver. One of the few remaining classics that is way undervalued. (decoy)

However, an intention of return must be expressed to the auctioneers within 14 days after you have received your decoy. The decoys need not be returned within 14 days but we must be notified within 14 days of your intention to return them.

<BR><p>4 - The Auctioneers reserve the right to reject any opening bid or bid advance not commensurate with the value of the article being offered.

<BR><p>5 - The Auctioneers reserve the right to withdraw any lot at any time prior to the commencement of bidding for the lot.

Personal checks will be accepted only if the Auctioneers have received a bank authorization guaranteeing funds or other credit references are provided. The Auctioneers reserve the right to hold merchandise purchased by personal check until the check clears the bank, if the Auctioneers regards such action necessary to protect their interests.

<BR><p>10 - All shipping and packaging expense shall be borne by the purchaser. If for any reason a purchased lot cannot be delivered in as good condition as at the time of the sale or should the lot be stolen prior to delivery, the Auctioneers shall not be liable for any amount in excess of that paid by the purchaser.
