Edinburgh: Adam and Charles Black, 1859FIRST (?ONLY) EDITION, pages xvi, 303, cr 8vo, original blue cloth : with a small oval stamp in six places, a pale ink splash on one opening, the inside front hinge weak, faint mark on both boards indicative of the removal of a small label, otherwise a very good copy.A remarkably scarce narrative by a sergeant in the Rifle Brigade, First Battalion, one of a specially selected party of nine sergeants which embarked for Persia in 1836.
