Relié d'après une maquette de Isy Brachot : plein box vert amande, guirlande d'encadrement ornée en box fuchsia et semé de petites étoiles dorées sur les plats, dos lisse, doublures de tissu gris à cadres de box vert et fuchsia, gardes volantes de même tissu, tête dorée, couv. et dos cons. (lég. ombres sur les plats). Sous chemise en demi-box vert à rabats (dos passé), sous étui.
20 pointes sèches mises en couleurs par Vairel : 10 en têtes de chapitre et 10 hors hexte. Lettrines imprimées en rose.
Tirage à 306 ex. num. ou lettrés signés par l'auteur et l'artiste, un des 20 sur papier d'Arches (3e pap., n° 25) accompagnés de :
- 1 croquis au stylo-plume à l'encre bleue, signé, non retenu pour l'illustration, figurant une femme borgne nue et une cul-de-jatte nue,
- 1 suite avec remarques en noir sur japon mince à belles fibres apparentes,
- 1 suite des hors-texte avec remarques en noir sur vélin de rives.
Notons que la justification annonce des suites en bistre ou sépia mais qu'elles ont toutes été tirées en noir.

After full payment, buyers are kindly requested to take away their purchases immediately after the auction or at the bookshop the next Tuesday after the auction 230 av. Louise, from 2 pm until 6 pm.
Goods will be send only after customers’ payment.
Packing and dispatching are entirely at the buyer’s own expense.
Books whose price exceed 100 EUR will be send by registered post.
Payment Details:
Payment will be made in Euro's. We do not accept credit cards neither cheques whose total amount exceed 200 EUR or cheques not validated for higher sum.
Terms of sale require buyers to pay immediately for their purchases, which means that lots will be released to them only when full and cleared payment as been received by us
In addition to the hammer price, the buyer has to pay a buyer’s premium of 21%, V.A.T. inclusive, all strictly in cash and in Euro's (EUR)
In case of original art and if the principles of the author’s rights are applicable, an extra 4% must be paid on each hammer price of at least 1250 EUR
All items are assumed to be in good condition unless otherwise stated. Buyers are kindly invited to carry out their own inspection of the lots they want to buy. All items to be auctioned are on view for several days prior to the sale.
Returning an item after the striking of the hammer will not be accepted, whatever the reason put forward. Those items bought on order must be inspected within 8 days after receipt. Any return after this term will be refused.
All items of the catalogue with the mention « n.c. » (non collationné = not inspected) are not subject to return. Neither are those sold in lots (two items or more) works consisting in multiple volumes and periodicals or series.
If you cannot attend the auction, we can execute written bids on your behalf. To ensure a satisfactory service, it is necessary to make arrangements for the services at least one day before the sale.
On every purchase Belgian law only is applicable, and all cases of dispute are exclusively to the competence of the Brussels Chamber.
