Boston, Massachusetts, ND (1840s-50s). $10, MA285G32P, Proof Banknote, Black printing with allegorical woman at right and bust of woman in profile at left, POCs along bottom and denomination cut out at right side, PMG graded Choice Uncirculated 63 with comment "Design Cut Out and Stains," RWH. This is the only example of this note listed in the PMG census of obsolete banknotes. From a new estate find that had been in the family since the 1890s. This is the first time this note has been offered at public auction and is a discovery note.
