Army Kepi,</B></I> approximately size 6 3/4, dark blue wool, brown oil cloth liner, leather chin strap with brass buckle, gilt eagle staff side buttons, flat visor, affixed with 7th Cavalry, Co. "C" insignia. A remarkably sound late nineteenth century kepi free of the mothing usually associated with such items. Worn leather elements, tight stitching.
