M*A*S*H TV Series Set Of Original Film Frames
M*A*S*H TV Series Set Of Original Film Frames - Two years after Robert Altman's smash-hit groundbreaking antu-war comedy feature "M*A*S*H" came out, a TV series based on the movie was born. The series "M*A*S*H" (1972-1983) became the most successful movie-to-TV-Series ever, as well as being on the air for 11 Seasons, and garnering more awards than any other TV series. It is still in reruns, and is one of the highest rated syndicated shows in history. Starring Alan Alda, Mike Farrell, Harry Morgan, and Gary Burghoff (who was the only cast member from the original movie to return to the series), it also became one of the most beloved series of all time. Its last three hour farewell episode is also the highest rated comedy ever. This is a wonderful treasured "M*A*S*H" memorabilia set from the very controversial episode "Dr. Winchester and Mr. Hyde" (#Y-122) from Season 6, Episode 23, first aired on February 27th, 1978, which dealt with the problem of drug addiction in the doctor's ranks because of overwork. The focus is on Major Winchester (David Ogden Stiers) refusal to admit to his addicting to amphetamines. These are actual film frames from this episode. Each frame is beautifully displayed and matted with a special blow-up of the original frame, plus an engraved detailed brass plaque. The set includes Alan Alda and Mike Farrell, Loretta Swit, Harry Morgan and Gary Burghoff. Original film frame is approx 1"x1", blow-up photo is 8"x10". The matted display is 13.5"x13.5". Four display frames in the set.
