Lot of 2 items. 1) Official engraved invitation to the Inauguration of Lyndon B. Johnson and Hubert H. Humphrey, 1965, with official envelope. 2) Letter dated October 1, 1987 from Lady Bird to C.R. Smith imploring him to consider donating his papers to the LBJ Library. On her letterhead from Stonewall, Texas. Handwritten (by C.R. Smith?) at the top of the letter are the personal telephone numbers for LBJ, Lady Bird and the LBJ Ranch. Stapled to the letter is a colored snapshot of Lady Bird standing before a framed painting.
