<B>Lyndon B. Johnson Document Signed, a Joint Resolution.</B></I> Two pages, Washington D.C., December 4, 1963. This joint resolution has a clear "Lyndon B. Johnson" at the top of the first page, written in black marker, and reads: "Joint Resolution to provide for renaming the National Cultural Center as the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Center, and authorizing an appropriation therefore. Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that as a mark of respect and affection for President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, as a recognition of his abiding desire to promote and encourage the arts in America, and as a commemoration of his great services to the Nation and people of the United States, the National Cultural Center provided for by the Act of September 2, 1958...as amended, shall be known hereafter as the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Center...There are hereby authorized to be appropriated, for payment to the trustees of the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Memorial Center for use in accordance with section 5 of the Act of September 2, 1958...amounts which in the aggregate will equal amounts given, bequeathed, or devised to said trustees pursuant to said section. When so specified in the pertinent appropriation act, amounts appropriated pursuant to this authorization shall remain available without fiscal year limitation."
