Six-time world championship billiards player (1918-1988) most well-known for his wizardry in the game of nine-ball at which he is widely considered one of the greatest players in history. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Lassiter shooting pool, signed and inscribed in black ballpoint “To Jim, best wishes, Luther Lassiter.” In very good condition, with several creases, mounting remnant to lower left corner, a bit of light silvering, and surface impressions from collector’s notations on reverse.
